And the name is ...

We have gathered here ...  - HEAR, HEAR!  - Wait! -
... electing the name for the new member of the Commoneo Redheads!
The ballot box is filled with the suggestions of the higly honoured readers of the commoneoblog.
I choose Emma, the oldest redhead here to draw a name.
(Don't you really have any other blindfold ??)
... drumroll ...
Breathless attention!
Thanks folks -and dear readers of course- for helping me. Names are very important. As you'll know!
My name is...
YaYY - H a m i s h - what a great name! We have to ask Otto  to do some research for the meaning

Final: the group shot  (Hey, Lion, you're not a redhead!)                                                                                                        f.l.t.r. Emma (you lost your hairslide!) , Luzie, Justian and...Hamish; of course.                                                                   WUFF!  ...and Lion, the notreallyredhead.

Special thanks to Sashapotamus for making great tights with alternative capabilities.
www.dict.cc and dict.leo.org for significant help with english vocables.
To Mr.Digne being able to stand Mrs. Digne suffering from dollymadness. To Mr. and Mrs. Dignes children not telling everyone their mother is cc  (=completelycrazy).
And of course - to all the still commenting (or silent) readers of the commoneo news...

  1. Gratuliere! ...zur Namenwahl. HAMISH? Gibt's den Namen auch auf Deutsch?
Justian gefällt mir ja auch ganz besonders gut:) Wie schöne Fotos hast du gemacht!

  2. Oh, but we DO tell everyone, that Mrs.Digne is cc, we're just not telling HER. ^^

  3. I looked up the Name Hamish for you, here is what it said

I would not worry about the children telling everyone you are crazy! Mine tell everyone I am crazy all the time!
Mr Digne is an angel as are all the men behind the nutty doll ladies :)
    Dee x

  4. Danke Barbara, deine Lob bedduete mir was in Bezug auf Fotografie. Und ich hab übrigens 'Ruebli' besonders hübsch gefunden. Könnte man auch Mädchen so nennen?

    Dee, thanks a lot.
Names are always fascinating to me.

The 'focus on order and practicality' sounds a bit german. Fits ;)

@ Lotte, HA - good to know now!
Ich würde meinen, es ist unverantwortlich, Verrückte auf kleine Enkelkinder aufpassen zu lassen! Da kann ich dich dran erinnern, wenn nächstesmal die Anfrage kommt *fg

  5. What a perfect name for you handsome redheaded boy Anne! I think with this name you're going to need to buy or make him a kilt for Burns Night next January! I agree that 'focus on order and practicality' does indeed sound like a German trait, which is very good. He will probably keep your lovely dolly crew in order when you're not around to keep an eye on them.
As for being a Crazy Dolly Lady, welcome to the club! I think we're all the same, us lot!!!! :) xx

  6. Dear Sharon - I'm proud now to be a member of this select society ;)

And Lottchen, thinking about CC-Grandmas: 'we need some crazy people, look were the ordinary have brought us to'
... so perhaps Grandchildren (= our political future) benefit from cc-Grannys...

  7. Nobody said, that it's BAD to be cc. ;) That's all in your head. I love it! (and the grandkids, too ^^)

  8. What a good name - welcome Hamish to your crew. Don't worry about being cc, it 'goes with the territory' of being a doll collector.

I love the tights as a blindfold!

  9. Hello to Hamish - great name.
I love the last picture of your kids all looking at us.
Thank you too for all your translating - now all us dollymad people can better follow your stories!
